LAW FIRM PRIVACY POLICIES
Pursuant to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999 (15 U.S.C. § 6801 et seq.), and as professionals who provide advice on personal financial matters, we are required to inform clients of our policies regarding privacy of client information. Your privacy and the confidentiality of information you provide in the course of our representation are very important to us. Maintaining your trust and confidence is a high priority of all members of our firm.
We may receive and collect significant personal financial information from our clients and, on occasion, from third parties such as accountants, insurance agents, banking institutions and other advisors in the course of providing certain legal services. We do not disclose any of this information to anyone outside the firm except as required by law, permitted by applicable ethics rules or as authorized by the client.
We retain records relating to professional services we provide so that we are better able to assist our clients with their professional needs and, in some cases, to comply with professional guidelines. We protect the privacy of that information and maintain safeguards which comply with our legal and professional obligations to prevent unauthorized disclosure of nonpublic, personal information.
